Allhallows Beach

This stunning beach located on the front of Allhallows Holiday Park can be visited and enjoyed all year round. From the Thames this is the closest to a ‘proper beach’ near London thus making it a popular spot for family trips out. Accessibility to the beach is limited with uneven floor surfaces and steps. Parking can be found at on Allhallows holiday park and at Avery Seafront. As of 2020 there is are no public toilets. This is the perfect opportunity to pack up a tasty picnic, grab some buckets and spades and have a fun filled afternoon out. There are no lifeguards who cover this area and dog restrictions may apply throughout the year.

A magnificent castle steeped in English heritage. Once owned by six of England’s medieval kings and queens it has become one of the most visited historic buildings in Britain. Leeds Castle was even a palace used by Henry VIII and his first wife Catherine of Aragon. One of the most profound moments in history is, The Field of Cloth of Gold’. Hosted over 500 years ago by Henry VIII this tournament intended to strengthen the bonds of friendship between Henry VIII and the French King, François I and their countries. The event is said to be one of the most “extravagant royal events to ever take place.”
Fast forward to the present time the castle is full of rich and interesting history just waiting to be explored. When visiting the castle you can find, playgrounds, beautiful gardens, castle view restaurant, history tours, shops, fun and interactive entertainment for the whole family.
