Active Facilities at Allhallows Leisure Park try golf, fishing or just a game of tennis.
We recently went to Haven at Allhallows for our first holiday as a family, we have a 10 week old baby and as you can imagine I was a bit nervous and apprehensive.
We stayed in one of the more luxurious caravans. On arrival we had a swift check in and very impressed with the caravan. It was right on the river front with a lake view, lovely and warm, (which was great for the night feeds!) and very clean.
I couldn’t believe just how much there was to offer included in the price (it was a lot cheaper being out of season.) Meet and greets, swimming, toddler and baby disco, bingo, mini golf, arcade...the list just goes on and on. Lots of it baby couldn’t do but looking at the list of activities there was something to please every toddler/child. Some activities you did have to pay for but it was only a small price.
We ordered food one night from Papa Johns which was delivered timely and piping hot, we went for a few meals at there restaurant/pub. The food was good for the price and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
My only advice - if you get accommodation by the river there are a lot of mosquitoes so take repellent and if you want a quieter holiday away from all the hustle and bustle the river view accommodation is well worth it!
I haven’t done a caravan holiday myself since being a child and didn’t know what to expect. I’m so impressed with Haven and will definitely be returning and trying other sites
For those of you that have children you can take out of term time - go and enjoy! Make the most of it whilst you can
